My friend and I absolutely adored our stay at the Hermitage in Great Torrington, Devon. the cottage was charming and had all the amenities we could possibly need, including a lovely garden and free private parking. the cozy seating area and fireplace made for the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We were thrilled to find a well-equipped kitchen with a toaster and barbecue, perfect for whipping up delicious meals. the bathroom with a shower was clean and modern, and the towels provided were a nice touch. the patio and garden furniture were ideal for enjoying breakfast outside in the fresh air. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting the Royal North Devon Golf Club, just a short drive away in Westward Ho. the beautiful grounds and challenging course made for a memorable day out. the proximity to Barnstaple allowed us to explore the town and indulge in some shopping. Overall, the Hermitage surpassed all of our expectations and provided us with a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. the friendly hosts were always available to help and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We can't wait to return and explore more of the stunning Devon countryside.
